As a coatings manufacturer, the company HUELSEMANN Coatings GmbH is a
manufacturer of preparations and thus a downstream user in terms of the REACH
Regulation. The pre-registration and the subsequent registration of substances
will therefore not be effected by us but by the manufacturers or importers of
the raw materials used for our coatings respectively.

As far as the preparation and implementation of the REACH Regulation is
concerned, we follow the recommendations of the German Chemical Industry
Association (VCI) for downstream users. In this context we will fulfil our communication
obligation along the supply chain. Of course this also includes the
investigation of and provision of information on exposure scenarios.
