The two Wuppertal-based paint manufacturers HUELSEMANN Coatings GmbH and Dr. A. Conrads Lacke GmbH & Co. KG have concluded an agreement under which HUELSEMANN Coatings GmbH will continue the majority of the production and sales activities of Lackmanufaktur Conrads from January 1, 2024.

This decision is the result of strategic succession planning by the managing brothers Mathias Conrads and Stefan Conrads. In terms of corporate philosophy, size, flexibility, experience and reliability, the two long-established companies are equal partners.

Dr. A. Conrads Lacke GmbH & Co. KG is a family-run company for three generations with a broad product portfolio of conventional and water-based paint systems (www.conrads-lacke.de). From January 2024, customers will be supported and supplied from the HUELSEMANN site in Wuppertal-Ronsdorf.

The HUELSEMANN Group, which also includes the Schwerter Lackfabrik and Lackfabrik Lital, is thus continuing to focus on growth and significantly expanding its successful industrial coatings business. The focus is on modern coating systems and individual solutions for customers at home and abroad.
