HUELSEMANN Coatings GmbH from Wuppertal had the fantastic opportunity to showcase its products at the first World Riveting Congress 2024, held from September 26th to 28th at our partner, the
GOEBEL Group in Erkrath.
As the leading manufacturer of highly specialized coating systems for decorative full coatings and weather-resistant head coatings, this event was the perfect platform to present our latest products and technologies to an international professional audience.
Innovative Coating Systems for Demanding Applications
Philipp Hülsemann, Managing Director and Co-owner, highlighted the outstanding benefits of our newest product lines at the congress, including the EPITAL-2K-HT and ILXEAL-2K-HT hot-barrel coatings. These coating systems provide a flawless and uniform surface finish, with the ILXEAL-2K-HT systems offering exceptional durability and resistance to extreme weather conditions and UV radiation. These proprietary developments set new standards, particularly for coating blind rivets, rivet sleeves, screws, and other fastening elements.
Efficient Coating in the Hot Drum Coating Process
The application of EPITAL and ILXEAL coatings in the hot drum coating process offers significant advantages: Coating consumption is minimized as a large quantity of components can be efficiently coated as bulk material in heated coating drums. This not only saves material but also time and energy — a clear benefit for our customers focused on efficiency and sustainability.

Weather- and UV-Resistant Head Coatings
Another highlight of the presentation was our specialized coating systems for the head coating of rivet bodies. These innovative reactive coatings are distinguished by their exceptional chemical and mechanical resistance and offer excellent weather and UV stability. They ensure a long-lasting, aesthetically pleasing surface, capable of withstanding even the most extreme environmental conditions.
