The highest priority of HÜLSEMANNs R&D activities has the development of environmental friendly water based coating systems.

With this focus, research & development is working on the consequent realisation of the technical and economical requirements of our customers. It is our permanent challenge to realise these requirements with innovative and environmental friendly products and efficient application techniques.

The strategic decision to concentrate on hydro coatings was made in the early eighties. Today a wide range of customers objects are already coated by the environmental friendly waterbased coating system called "Ilexal".

The biggest part in terms of volume is used today in the competence area of industrial coatings like machinery, metal fixtures and equipment. However, also the textile industry must not waive the environmental coating systems. No matter what application techniques are used.
