Tradition and Experience as drivers for the future

In May 1905 Carl Hülsemann started a production of special paints for wood, tools, and machinery, as well as paints for the dip- or immersion coating of eyelets for a locally strong shoe accessories industry.

An important advance took place in 1926. The production of paints and colours was from now stepped up to an industrial basis.

Low-cost paints for the around-the-house application were now only produced very efficiently by bigger companies. HÜLSEMANN continued to concentrate on special industrial paints.

Today, after more than 100 years the company HÜLSEMANN is a medium-size family business and Philipp and Thomas Hülsemann manages the firm in the fourth generation. The production today contains various industrial coatings systems for metal, plastic, wood and glass. The production and sales portfolio covers the three key competence areas: industrial coatings, special coatings and mini coatings.

Valuable and tight business relationships with the customers and the permanent focus on their needs and changing demands is the driving engine to the future together with successful developments and innovative products.

The contribution for the protection of the environment is the change to low-emission paints on water basis. HÜLSEMANN is continually searching for innovative alternatives. Not only the image of the customers products will benefit from this, but also of course our environment.
